I am interested in scholarship on media effects, social psychology of race and gender, and media literacy.
My primary research interest is in media's role in shaping racial/ethnic attitudes and policy opinions.
My secondary interest is in sexuality and violence in adolescent entertainment.
I teach courses on research methods, media processes and effects, and media audiences.
